Virtual Festival “A Day of Cultures 2021” was an engaging and fun-filled virtual festival on February 19th. 2021 (10 am – 6 pm) brought to you by the Immigrant and Multicultural Services Society (IMSS), to celebrate the cultural diversity of our community.
LEGACY OF THIS VIRTUAL FESTIVAL IS BELOW. ENJOY!
A Day of Culture celebrated and highlighted multiculturalism and anti-racism. This virtual festival hosted food recipes demos, dance, music, arts/crafts, a traditional dress fashion show, and senior’s dance (65 plus), a well an interfaith webinar. It was comprised of a series of family-friendly community virtual events geared towards celebrating culture, weaving them together home entertainment broadcast in the social media to create a virtual festival that promotes cultural understanding, social, and community pride on a safe mode during the pandemic situation.
